Darren Blyth

Darren is a highly experienced commercial manager and project controls expert with over 30 years of industry experience. He has worked across a wide range of sectors and has a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes.

Darren’s career began in the early 90’s in the electrical contracting industry, where he spent a decade working for Scotlands largest electrical contractor reaching the position of Regional Estimating Manager.

In the early 2000’s, Darren transitioned to the Quantity Surveying profession, where he quickly became a highly respected industry expert and a trusted advisor to his clients. He has worked for a number of well-known consulting companies in senior management roles, both in the UK and internationally, including Davis Langdon (Aecom), Rider Levett Bucknall and WT Partnership. He has experience delivering large/complex projects in various global locations such as Australia, Hong Kong, The Bahamas, Canada, United Kingdom and the USA.

In addition to his experience in the consultancy and contracting fields, Darren worked for Google as their Global Commercial Lead for the Workplace Design and Delivery group. There, he was responsible for the development and implementation of world class commercial management and project controls across their global portfolio.
