Darren Blyth, Principal

As founder and President, Darren is responsible for the day to day operations of the business.

Darren has been in the industry for over 30 years with experience in the contracting, consulting, developer and owner/occupier fields. Driven by his passion for the profession, he takes pride in developing, implementing and leading world class commercial management and project controls solutions. His pragmatism, tenacity and resiliency have led him to become a respected and expert trusted advisor to many of his clients.

He has delivered projects of varying scale and complexity around the world ranging from small renovation projects to a $2.7bn single phase resort development. Leveraging his specialist knowledge of MEP systems, he is particularly effective in the delivery of life sciences and mission critical projects.

Most notably, Darren was the Global Commercial Lead for Google’s Workplace Delivery group. In his role, he oversaw the delivery of commercial management and project controls services across their multi-billion dollar global portfolio.

Darren formed Blyth Consulting to build on his reputation for delivering results. He is committed to ensuring that Blyth Consulting remains an agile and proactive consultancy, tailoring it’s services to the unique needs of each client.
